Volunteer

If you are here, you are already one step closer to getting your chance to decorate a float for the 2013 Tournament of Roses Parade. One note right off the top is that all volunteers must be at least 13 years old or older to help us out. Now, how do you sign up? Phoenix Decorating Company works with two organizations who actually coordinate and manage all the volunteers who sign up and work in our float barns. You must click on one of the two links listed here to sign up.

To sign up to volunteer at Rosemont Pavilion please contact Kiwanis International.

To sign up to volunteer at the Rose Palace please contact Petal Pushers at Lutheran Petal Pushers.

Be patient as most of our organizers are just wrapping up details from the 2012 parade and it may take a couple weeks for details about the 2013 schedule to be posted.

Below is our tentative volunteer schedule for this year’s decorating. You may volunteer for any or all of the dates listed below, however, we do ask that when you sign up you be prepared to work a full shift of 8 hours each time. When you arrive for your pre-scheduled shift you will be assigned to where we need you. You may be asked to cut flowers. You may be asked to decorate a certain float. We strive to make sure you have a great time and feel a sense of accomplishment when you are done! (Although you may get a bit messy too so wear proper working attire.)

If you have any questions please read our suggestions for all decorators.
